Raj Bhakta is an American entrepreneur, politician, and reality television personality with a net worth of $200 million. He was a contestant on the second season of The Apprentice, and later ran for the United States House of Representatives from Pennsylvania’s 13th district.
After graduating from Boston College, Bhakta worked for an investment banking firm before founding Automovia and leading the Apex Vail redevelopment project in Colorado. He appeared frequently on MSNBC, Fox News, and CNN, and started the blog GoAmericaGo after his congressional race.
In 2019, Bhakta sold his stake in WhistlePig, a company valued at several hundred million dollars. He used the proceeds to purchase a 1,000 acre ranch in Vero Beach, a 700 acre farm and a 500 acre orchard in Vermont, an 18th-century chateau in the Armagnac region, the Green Mountain College campus, and the world’s largest supply of 50-year-plus Armagnac.
